Brian Wilson lookalike = actor Edmund Cobb (super eerie)

I came across a 1930s movie today, where the villain was played by an actor named Edmund Cobb. I almost did a spit-take… this gentleman looks darn near EXACTLY like Brian Douglas Wilson – it’s uncanny, and a bit scary, actually! What do y’all think?
Edmund Cobb did quite a bit of acting up from the 1910s until 1966.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0167760/
More pics (some look much more Brian-like than others):

I wouldn’t be surprised if he and the Wilsons were related in some way.

Alan Boyd is a big old/classic movie buff, right? I wonder if he ever came across this actor and thought the same.

you guys are smoking way too much wacky weed.
There's a slight resemblance, but that's it. Almost every photo I checked, I was thinking, wish I was under the influence like those guys....

What's a Cobb? From where do the Cobbs hail ? Are the Cobbs of a similar stock to the Wilsons?

Well, I'll bet Brian loves himself a Cobb salad with his steak. So there's that
But seriously though, I'm almost wondering the same thing.

His facial expression is a lot like Brian's, so there is indeed a resemblance, but not an eerie one I think.

Funny stuff
but Brian has been too much of a shape shifter to have been that Cobb guy.

This Edmund Cobb actor did nearly two decades of silent movies, so maybe Alan Boyd has seen Cobb's Brian-like face at some point...

I'd tend to doubt that on basic principles, viz, if he had, we'd have heard about it before now.

I kinda think they look like brothers, or maybe half brothers in that pic. But it might just be weed talking
Yeah, Fred does look like a bear though.

Well, if sharing bags under eyes=half-brothers, there'll be extended fam.

I remember thinking this actor who played a police officer in The Dark Knight looked a lot like Brian.
His name is Keith Szarabajka.

Just a reminder of the author/prankster and Found Footage Festival co-founder Nick Prueher who appeared on the Kimmel show, looking like Mike's doppelganger circa 1966:
