Target is awful.
Target be awesome if they have NPP with boner tracks, in store; we O/S shmucks have to special order from Japan to get the good stuff (those obi's stress me out, I hope I don't tear mine in an opening frenzy) .

Target ain't 'awful' at all. I pulled down a few goodies from there that were either Target exclusives or unavailable/hard to get anywhere else:

"That's Why God Made The Radio" vinyl 45 and a Beach Boys 50 t-shirt packaged in a 7 inch box that has the cover of the TWGMTR single on the box.

These toy cars:

And it's where I'm going to get this:

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Target is only awful to me because after their data breaches last year, they hired a guy to run their IT Security that is SO bad it ain't funny!

I think it might be the version reportedly featured at the end of the movie but that's just my speculating.

"Target exclusive" ?  Hardly - those tracks are on the Japanese release and the UK version I've ordered from Amazon.

They're slightly different.  They have a really annoying DJ screaming "TAR JAYYYYYY!!!!!" and blowing a horn about every 10 seconds like a good hiphop mixtape.  Brian's really trying to get commercial again.

Target donates huge sums of $ to exclusively right-wing political campaigns, which is the main thing that makes them awful IMO (your results may vary). Shocked

Would that be the same 18-track version offered by wowhd.com for £7.99?

Figures, as I had just ordered the import version. Just tried to cancel it as it was a little more pricey than what this will sell for. Hopefully they can do so.

It should be fairly obvious that these songs are exclusive to Target for the US market. This isn't the first or fiftieth time a band / artist has had the same one or two tracks as retail exclusives in two or three different countries.

I think it was Michael Buble who had a website exclusive version of his newest album that had the same bonus tracks as the Target exclusive. They just changed the background color of the cover.

Target (and Best Buy, Amazon, Toys R Us, etc.) do a zillion exclusives, from movies to toys to even food. When they mark it exclusive, it obviously means exclusive among US retailers, and often only exclusive for a specific period of time. I've heard of many cases of US "exclusives" that are available by the truckload in other countries.

For US customers anyway, the Target version will be moderately and perhaps extensively cheaper too.
