It occurs to me that one who sets out looking for evil shall find it. One who sets out looking for good shall find it. The person who sets out looking for the truth shall find a combination of the two in everything on God's earth and the Devil's perversion of same.
The Beach Boys are a perfect example. We see Mike as the villain and Brian as the hero because we want clear definitions. But they're only pawns in the game, Mike of the suspicious sort, Brian of the naive and trusting, capable of outright and passive evil in their own rights, the same under God's vision.
The same could be said of all of us, on this board and otherwise. Let's look for the positive and the negative but without agendas.
Does a picture of a model make you glory in God's wondrous creations or frothily foam at the perversions of such? It's the beholder's eye, right? Or no?
