During the recent cleanup we located a small stash of the out of print LONG PROMISED ROAD: SONGS OF DENNIS AND CARL WILSON LIVE CD with Alan Boyd guesting with us, from 2007. This has become a little bit of a collector's item; the best price on amazon is $49; half.com has it for $73.

For a short time I am going to be offering up copies of these CDs for $25 including postage, and I will also include a free copy of one of my original CDs at no extra charge.

My reach is limited, so if you know someone into the Beach Boys that might want in on this deal, please feel free to forward this to them. Thanks so much!

E-mail me at cockeyedghost@gmail.com for more info on how to order.

Lol, goshdarn, that's crazy people would pay that much money for cover songs.

You gotta milk dat bidness for all it's worth, for my sake.

You and your Chaos Band is super talented, but I still find that nuts you could that kind of cash.

With that said, I'm too broke to afford anything but Brian Wilson's and Scott Weiland's newest upcoming albums, but hope you can sell your tunes for hella muhfuggin' cash.

Namaste.

Wooh SOT , Yes most don't have much disposable income BUT I think Adam is being very fair in his offer (and throwing in an additional free CD !!) , it is a very hard to find CD (and IMO extremely good) and worth every penny of $25.
Talking of such a price for covers versions , well I have spent a sh*t load on BB's covers (in all formats) over the years - As a side just purchased a 7" of the Primal Scream Dixie-Narco EP with their cover of 'Carry Me Home' , bought it on CD many many years ago but not the same as vinyl.

Anyway I see this as a public service by Adam to us fans who would love to own this at a knock down price.

In my opinion Adam & his band, out of any band, do the most justice to the songs being covered, so whatever he's charging is definitely worth more than the price of admission.

My last post may have sounded like I'm a crap talking dipshit dumbass (which I'm not denying I'm not), but it makes me glad a big fan of Carl & Dennis has an album of their songs going for as much as it is....

No other musicians are as lucky to have Adam Marsland, Evie Sands, Theresa Cowles, etc, playing their songs....  The Chaos Band deserves as much, if not more, money as the amount the Long Promised Road album is going for....

It's just mind blowing to this small minded ass motherfokker that somebody can sound as good as they do to command as much or more money than the original verisons of the album do....

So in poorly supported, ADD conclusion: support Adam Marsland & his Chaos Band; pretty much every other band that plays their own instruments can't hold a candle to what you'll hear on "Long Promised Road: Songs of Dennis & Carl Wilson".
