Keep the Summer Alive!

Thought I'd start a new thread for setlist requests for Mike & Bruce's 2015 tour. We've already seen and heard a few treats, like Here Today and Heroes & Villains (73 live version). Serious requests only, please. Of course, there are no guarantees that any of these requests would be added, but I'm sure that members of the band would hear about and/or see them, and that Mike himself would get wind of some of these requests.

Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow (Randell/Mike)
Keepin The Summer Alive (John C)
It's About Time (John C)
All I Wanna Do (Mike)
Feel Flows (Jeff)
I'm So Young (Randell) - this was great a few years back!
Wendy (Mike instead of Bruce)
Good Timin (John S)
Summer Means Fun (Bruce)
Your Summer Dream (Scott)

That's Not Me and Deidre would be my two picks, especially for any Chicago-area shows this year!  Wink

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

"Big Sur" would be pretty surreal (no pun intended), 3/4 or 4/4, I love both versions...

Back Home
Girls on the beach
Friends
Spirit of America
Summer in paradise
that's not me
vegetables
rock n roll to the rescue
somewhere near japan
add some music
spring vacation
she knows me too well

Long-shot, I know, but this might be good for future shows with David Marks...

Get him to sing "Pacific Ocean Blues".

Really clever lyrics from Mike, a tribute to Dennis, and a funky vibe that would really blow the dust off!

Cheers,

Great Thread! Even if it may be a long shot even if one or two of the songs suggested would be great!

For Mike:
California Saga: Big Sur
Cherry Cherry Coupe
Custom Machine
That's Not Me
Somewhere Near Japan
All I Wanna Do
Sad Sad Summer

For Bruce (something besides Disney Girls. haha):
Deirdre
Tears In The Morning
Don't Run Away

For John:
It's About Time
Keepin' The Summer Alive

For Scott:
Time To Get Alone
Let Him Run Wild
Your Summer Dream
We'll Run Away

For Jeff:
The Surfer Moon
Farmer's Daugher
Lonely Sea
She Knows Me Too Well
Wonderful

Jeff actually adds a whole list of new opportunities for the group honestly

I think 'Cassius' Love Vs. 'Sonny' Wilson has a better chance of being performed.
