Rhonda, Marcella and Sandy  Grin

No, but I believe these are just fans, aren't they?

Oh, they might be fans, but I'm pretty sure those are Vegas hookers that posed for a picture with Brian at the crap tables.

Love those '71 era pictures. After Holland, the whole group never looked that cool again.

Well said. I agree.

Dennis Wilson maintained his "cool" look though.

Carl... no way, he had that jumpsuit crap going on.

Mike Love...that guy went from cool to pracing around on stage wearing tight sh*t with his butt sticking out.

Al became a mountain man.

As far as Bruce Johnston, give the guy a Lacoste shirt and he shuts his mouth.

Brian was nowhere to be found. But he was cool even when he was in a robe.

Talking about how cool various members looked at one time, I might have mentioned this before but when do you think they got geeky or declined in their "look"
Here is mine
Brian 1974
Dennis 1977
Carl 1987
Mike 1968
Al 1974
Bruce 1980

By the 1970s almost everyone you care to think of from the 1960s (not just BBs) started looking awful.  They even seemed to go physically uglier!

Brian had his cool moments even after 1974. He should have stayed permanently beardless in 1980 and beyond as he looked pretty good at the Knebworth concert.
I also kinda like Dennis' look wearing his hair a bit shorter during his final years.

That said, it probably doesn't get much worse than on the back cover of the 1985 record in terms of coolness. Everytime I see pictures of Mike wearing that white hat I can virtually hear him say: "Cars and girls were okay. But there was a war going on."

This is so great! I was looking for it for some time but couldn't find the site anymore. Brian seems so soulful and into the music !

The last two pictures are amazing. =) Thanks for posting.

That's Brian in '74? Other than him being over weight, he looks healthy (a lot more healthier than he looked like in 1976 ie Mike Douglas show, SNL, etc.)

He looked basically the same in 80 as he did in 74.

Cool one. Never saw it. Do you have a better quality version? It looks like Brian has a beard, so is it from the late 70s or mid 80s?

I think it is from 83 because I see Mike doesn't have his beard. Here is one from spring of 75

Cool pic from '75 MBE. Bruce is there, so I guess it's from that "California music" sessions? Around the time he walked into Elvis' session ?

MBE, thanks for that '75 pic. You are right, looks like an early 80's brian.

It's amazing how many physical changes Brian has went through. Almost like 4 different Brians.

Right it is from The California Music session. Brian did have many "looks". If you take 62-3, 64-5, 66-73, 74-82, 83-87, 88-92, 93-now he looks very different in each of these phases. I think I like Brian's image pre 74 the best. Particularly 64 and 70.
