Look at the look on Carl's face in the last picture (above). Looks like he's really concerned about what Brian is about to say. lol

Where is that from anyways?  And, where can I see it??? =)

wierd, that 2nd one from zander is either backwards or the cover of Back to the Beach is backwards

From looking at it now, I think Back to the Beach is backwards. Check the partings in Denny's and Carl's hair in the other pictures, that's a sure indicator!

does anyone have any bigger and better quality pics of these?:

of the last one, maybe I do....should look it up at home, but I think it's from a series of pictures taken during the making of the Surf's Up album. I remember seeing this picture in the chords/lyrics-book of Sunflower/Surf's Up. I'll get back to that...

Carl probably felt a bit naked without the full beard. Smiley

I've never seen that fire helmet pic of Brian before. It's from the day they did the "Good Vibrations" promo film.

Wasn't it when they did the presented for an award (Best album, best new act etc etc) at the 1977/ 8 Grammy's or something? I'm sure I read that somewhere, AGD would know for certain...

The pictures I'm referring to can also be found on the insert/poster of the Surf's Up album, but in the chords-book their enlarged to A4-size, and most of those pictures show more than what can be seen on the small pictures on that poster. I'll look it up this evening or tomorrow....and scan them of course...

Brian still looked alright in 1971. It's amazing how much his appearance changed in 5 years. For the worse, actually.
