Well, I got a good chuckle out of it. Me too. And let's face it, Dennis will always be known as a someone how had an insatiable appetite for woman. It doesn't cheapen him or his legacy, but whitewashing him sure will.

It doesn't cheapen him or his legacy, but whitewashing him sure will. It does cheapen women though when referring to them in uncountable terms ("appetite for woman", like "pork" or "ham"). Although I'm sure it was merely a typo.

I had never seen this one: I've seen some pictures from various record signings but this is new to me as well. Thanks!

Interesting to me that she is wearing a Criteria Recording Studio tee shirt. Those weren't easy to come by, unless you were at the studio as a client. Also remember that security guy, but can't place him....

I bet Dennis left with her after signing her album I think I don't like these kinds of comments. Hehe, I do! First & foremost, Dennis is a musician; he will be remembered for his talents as a composer to fans & a good friend/brother - to various collaborators, artists & relatives.
I absolutely agree.

Thats a first for me! Who's who in that pic? When was this taken? Can we get more? 1950s, I guess. Mike's obvious, the rest I'm guessing are his siblings. The girl playing the harp is Maureen and the other girl is Stephanie. The boy standing up is Steve and the other boy is Stan. I could be wrong though. As for finding this picture, I just happened to stumble along this one on Google!

Apparently - the Beach Boys in the studio messing around with Mr. Sandman. I've never heard this and it could be/and is probably fake but it sounds like Al and they end up playing GOK towards the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-dFPtxhUng

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

This is my first post...been lurking a few weeks, this is a site! I've looked at all the pics (that are left) on this thread and saved a lot of my favorites. I really like this pic of Brian Looks like it was taken around the time of the Sunflower LP? I did some clean up, fade correction, blurred the background a little. How does it look? And here's a before & after of another pic that time wasn't kind to.

Good work, leggo. You're a welcome addition to this beloved picture thread. Well I have enjoyed the thread! Found some great links here too so I wanted to contribute something back to group. Here is a Japanese CD. Looks like there was no room for Dennis in the raft and he forgot to bring his swim trunks to boot! Did Brian ever tour with the BB in Japan? The guy hiding behind those flowers with the burns has awfully black hair....hmm. Anyone ever see this photo before?

I think he did last year... Well, I should have said in the 60's not recently. Anyway, I guess that could be Carl with the dark hair and sideburns. Looks like Bruce is over at the far right. No telling where photo was taken, with all the flowers maybe the Maharishi is not far away? I'd like to see some quality color pics of the Boys in Japan wearing the Samurai costumes. Never seen them on any music media. Maybe the Japan Tour souvenir book?

Thanks those are much larger than what I had. I did find some pics of the 66 Japan tour book. Brian is in the pics but the poster said that he was still in the States working in the studio. I figured as much.
