Well I would like to see that 1970 local talk show where he began taking his clothes off. Gaines book is the source on that one.

You're right. I thought the same thing. But on stage it was a different story. I think they should've dressed on stage as in that video of GV that I posted above. They're private clothes seemed to be quite cool. See also the 20/20 cover

I always thought that in their personal lives, they were one of the more fashionable bands out there. Or at least one of the more fashionably 'interesting' and diverse.

Dennis was ahead of his time in fashion. Carl dressed preppy. Speaking of Carl, here's a nice photo of him: www.backstagegallery.com has some nice BB photos for sale.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings. Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45. Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

Ok, this is a random thought. I just realised something about Dennis in the above picture. Look at his hand, and then look at John Lennon's animated hand on the Yellow Submarine album cover. The exact positioning of the hand(s) is an odd coincidence.

Not the best quality, but Carl is on the drums: Thanks so much for all the links Lady, there were a few I hadn't seen before so much appreciated By the way, that pic I've quoted is from this performance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8I0v2bVX8j4

From German Bravo magazine... So they were talking about the length of their hair (must've been one most important topic back then) and how they had just become a rock band. The last sentence says: "Our fans alone are now up to decide whether we chose the right way or not."
