Are there any color pics from the photo session that produced this shot on the back cover of "SMiLE" ?

Never saw this picture

Anyway, don't know if this was posted before

From this site:
http://www.jackhayes.com/photos.html

Jack Hayes at the microphone with the Beach Boys. Dennis Wilson at the drums, Brian Wilson (foreground) & Mike Love in the background. San Jose Civic Auditorium. Can you believe ticket prices were $3.75 plus tax?

And I like this very much:

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Apologies if this has been posted already, it was new to me today and very cool:

Caption reads... "So filled with hope: The Beach Boys in a snapshot taken at Lakewood Beach, north of Springfield, in July 1964. Five months after playing the Champaign County resort, Brian Wilson (seated) would have his nervous breakdown."

The picture of Brian and Dennis on the go-karts is weird! I looked at Brian first and thought it was maybe a picture from the 90's but then I looked to the left and noticed Dennis! Brian looks so much like his older self in that pic.

He looks more like Bill Hicks than anyone here...

Is there someone who may be willing to do some sort of a picture collage with Brian from '62 throughout 2012? I think it would be really cool to see him and how he changed from year to year. I'd do it, but my picture collection is not that vast or varied.

If you can get hold of Brian's 2005 (I think) programme it's basically just that, one photo from each year right through to 04 or 05. It's got some fine shots of Brian in it, particularly late 80's/early 90's.

Sounds like you should get hold of the 2005 Brian Wilson tour program. Contains picture(s) of BW from each year between 1961 (or 2) until 2005.

EDIT: ah, Craig Boyd beat me to it...  Grin

Those mid 1970s pictures of brian are rough.
