Besides your vocal arrangements, did you feel influenced in the way you build your chords on the piano by other songwriters who also compose on keyboards? People who, like you, use a lot of inversions on the left hand: Burt Bacharach, Carole King, Jimmy Webb, Stevie Wonder, etc.
