I think Mike should have tried playing soprano.
I think that he would have played for a very long time.
I think that maybe he would not have given it up so quickly as he did.
I think that perhaps he and/or the group was in the wrong .

It was a confusing poll but I went with "he should have gone solo" since that was my gut reaction. Surely his career would have tanked upon the arrival of the Beatles and guitar bands but that suits me fine because I taste like purple.

In this alternate universe,  Mike becomes so good that he joins the wrecking crew. Dennis becomes Brian's main lyricist. Brian asks Mike to write lyrics for Pet Sounds, and Dennis complains telling Brian not to f*** with the formula.

Mike Love will NEVER be as cool as the Epic Sax Guy, Sergey Stepanov, from Moldova:

I have been dubbed Mr. Pet Sounds and Mr. Country Love by polite and honored board member Smile Brian. I hope I live up to those esteemed titles.

Only because he was playing the wrong kind of sax.

The soprano would have sounded pretty kickass on Da Doo Ron Ron.

That's probably 600 views, which would increase by one every time someone returns to see if there are any fresh replies, or to look upon their own handiwork…

It can only happen if you go check up another thread & THEN return back. Otherwise, it doesn't increase views if you haven't been around & straight off came in to look what you wrote or to edit your post. Or see fresh replies after hanging around on the main page/Info center. My own observation.

Now that Mike has his original (and wrong) saxophone back he should trade it in for a soprano.

time to do what's right, myke.

This thread reminds me of that song Jack Black and The Lonely Island did about Mike.
