I took about a week in my bedroom to record my version of it once, and it ended up sounding like a parody. It was unintentional, though...

I'm wondering who the "Pea Brain" is in the video... could it be Mike?

I'm going to guess that the one on our far right is Dennis, since she plays him as not taking it that serious, even making faces. of course Brian is singing..like I said above I'm thinking the one on our far left is Mike since she calls him a pea brain..could Al be the one with the arms crossed?

Its Al. She has the stage pose for each member down pat actually.

It is of course not so much a parody of the song than a parody of the TV staging (see link above), and in that it is hilariously funny to me.

Wonder if it's her wicked way of imitating the British accent. Nonetheless, it was entertaining. "DWB" isn't.

After watching the Beach Boy video and then the Sisters video I found it funny indeed. Al Jardine a pea brain....... hilarious.
I can't really put my finger on just why I find it so funny. It's quirky, different........ very offbeat.

Parody of the Beach Boys on Dick Clark's Bandstand, 1964. Not bad except for the dumb pea brain part. With exception to her large posterior, I'd say she's pretty cute.
I'd
do.........uh........kiss her.

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

Speaking of cute women, I wonder if that guy in your avatar ever had a woman, Josh.

And only Mary knows where his ashes are buried. A 4-octave singer who checked out when he was only 45. And to think he could have been saved with the medication they have for AIDS today.

It's an attempt at humor, I guess. None of them have pea-brains, although each one has done some lame-brain things at times.

Doesn't parody generally involve exaggeration for comic effect? I wouldn't call dressing up like them and standing in the same poses parody. Mimicry, perhaps, but not parody. And, I really don't get the "pea brain" bit.

I think the intention is "silly." Not of the same caliber but a "Pythonesque" non sequitur inscrutability. I appreciated the effort in mimicking/parodying a somewhat arcane Beach Boys lip synch video from their golden age. She caught Mike's locker room douchiness but missed his bass parts I think.
Yeah she's cute. Got a little of a female Carl Wilson thing going.

Not necessarily. Personally, I think she managed to expose how silly (sillily?) the Beach Boys were staged in the original clip by mimicking that.

Me neither, so I just ignored it and focused on what struck me as very funny.

she comments that the video is part of her comedy show. maybe that's where the pea brain thing is better explained.
i'm guessing she must be a pretty big fan.
