Inspired by Ron's Doo-wop-thread, I thought about which CDs include great boogie-woogie piano playing in good sound quality.... Do you know any?

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

I love "Lucille" by Little Richard of course.  Oh My God on the piano on that one.

Yeah, those things are groovy, though I think "Bogie woodie" isn't that good. But i was talking 'bout the classic Boogie-stuff like Big Joe Turner and those guys. Little richard is too rock and roll (not that I don't like that).
