okay..so every few years we get the same Christmas album (the first one) repackage , sometimes with a couple songs from the 70's Christmas album, now I think that it's time that we get a Christmas 2 CD compilation that blows the others away.. basically CD 1 would be the original in both stereo and mono with bonus tracks, single mixes, alt takes, stack o tracks, The Lords Prayer. CD 2 would be the complete second Christmas album from the 70's, with bonus tracks, stack o tracks, single mix of "Child Of winter". demo's (if any exist) and maybe a brand new song by Brian..

An ultimate Christmas album? That's exactly what they did in 1998...

Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story

I wish they had put the Christmas medley on it (the one with the families on backing vocals). Some great harmonies from Brian and Al.

Obviously it would be great to have a double album with the other unreleased 70s songs and O Come all ye Faithful but realistically the Christmas album is one that has been treated well by the record label over the years.

There are several other albums much more in need of an `Ultimate Edition` imo.

We got the Ultimate Beach Boys Christmas album compilation back in 1998. With the exception of the Brian Wilson Christmas album (solo material released in '05) and a few other scattered solo tracks, it would be scraping the barrel to include any more. I was, and still am, very satisfied with the BEACH BOYS Ultimate Christmas album. Outside of the best of '77 Christmas tracks, we got tracks that shouldn't have even seen the light of day - alternate takes and mixes and unreleased. Love the stereo versions of the first Christmas album - especially Little St. Nick!

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

I remember someone about ten years ago made (homemade) a comp called Endless Christmas...at the time, What I Really Want for Christmas wasnt out. But it did contain Mike's Christmas tunes (from Scrooge's Rock and Roll Christmas), Brian's On Christmas Day and other carols he made available on BW.com, a few mixes of Hey Santa was on there, the Christmas medley with the BB's kids, Jeff Foskett material, Winter Wonderland with the Boys (and Colin Ray? I can't remember), and the backing track outtake of the BB Christmas album song Jingle Bells....and that's all I can remember.

I would like Brian's version (which was on his site) of The Christmas Song, I loved the chord of "Merry Christmas" he does right before the song.
