What the hell kind of non-specific thread title is this?!? Everyone has to click the link to see what you're even asking for.

I've never seen a picture of the Beach Boys with Bruce and Ricky and Blondie. Not sure one even exists. I'd love to see it if one does exist...

There are pics. For instance, in David Leaf's book. Also Keith Badman's book. They're not "in concert" shots, but rather in casual settings.

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

The John Tobler book has a picture of the band ready for what looks like a TV show. Bruce and Ricky.

Edit. Found it.

Ah yes I've seen this one before...what was I thinking. But I've yet to see a shot of the Beach Boys with all 3 (Bruce, Ricky, Blondie) all together as members of the band. Love this picture of the boys with The Flame, though.

There's a variation of the photo which appeared on the front of the April 15, 1972 edition of New Musical Express which shows Bruce (bass), Blondie, and Ricky in concert.

The boys getting ready to perform (lip-synch) Marcella in TopPop, The Netherlands, Feb 72.
That is; according to Keith Badman's book, if I'm correctly. Pretty strange if you consider that the single wasn't released yet. No video of the broadcast (in May 72) has ever re-surfaced unfortunately.

And in Ken Barnes's The BB - A Biography in Words & Pictures there's a picture with the boys on stage with Bruce and Blondie during a concert in LA in 1973.

Kind of off topic but they really need to release the Carnegie hall shows, the beachago tour, etc

I STILL don't know where tyo host photos on the fly so here's three from my public Facebook page.  These SHOULD be viewable, even if you DON'T have a Facebook account.  If not, I'm sure someone will be able to post them elsewhere for everyone or tell me how to do so.

This is my favorite Brian photo from this century now:

http://www.gettyimages.co.nz/detail/news-photo/singer-song-writer-and-founding-member-of-the-beach-boys-news-photo/83217420

The photos featured as "similar images" aren't bad either though. Smiley

This was taken when Brian accidentally walked into an elementary school on Picture Day.  He just figured the cameras were for him.

BTW didn't Brian also walk on stage at the end of this show?

They were all three at GA Tech the first time I saw The Beach Boys in 1972 , it was Bruce's next to last gig with the band. I took some Kodak shots, where they are is anyone's guess!

Awesome link but that's a different show.  Check out the length of Mike's beard.  Also Blondie is wearing a different shirt.  And I'm pretty sure they're playing "Wild Honey" (or "Good Vibrations") with Bruce on bass, yet the article says Bruce was only on stage for the encores (I Get Around, Sloop John B, Fun Fun Fun, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Surfer Girl, California Girls, and Barbara Ann).  I think the black and white pic is from the time when all three were still members of the band.

That's being pretty rough on Mr. Beckley! Grin  But, as the guy who took those photos, I can say that when I got them back from the film lab I was really bummed out to see Gerry Beckley's clapping hands in front of Brian's face.
