Springsteen starts his own download site for live shows, will  BRI be smart and follow suit?  Maybe someone here can hook BRI/Mike/Brian up with nugs.net

Who would want to download the same show over and over again?

I'm not exactly a big Springsteen fan, but I do know that he makes radical changes in his setlist from night to night. Where as any touring version of the beach boys maybe changes 2-5 songs...if any.

Plus, I think Springsteen's live shows draw the attention of a wider age range as well an age-range that is far more tech-savvy than the Beach Boys'.

I would definitely pay for tastefully mastered recordings of past key concerts. I'd probably buy at least one from each year, if made available. As for the current tour, I'd probably pick the show with the best setlist and download that one.

There is definitely money to be made in following this route in releasing historically important shows. As for the current tour, I think it would be best to hand pick the best ones and make them available.

I'd definitely spend some money on shows some on older shows 65 - 80 if they were unedited. I wouldn't be interested in current shows (personally) but I'd probably purchase a Christmas show since it strays from the normal setlist.
