I've been thinking recently.... given the overload of material (three scrapped track-lists and a couple other circulating leftovers to boot), what if "Sunflower" was expanded from a measly 12 tracks to a mighty 31?
I've started putting this together for myself - the track order is essentially arranged in chronological order according to when the track was completed - and so far it's not too shabby. :-)
SIDE ONE
01) The Lord's Prayer [mono with one channel delayed, since the uncirculated Sunflower-era mix was Duophonic]
02) San Miguel
03) Got To Know The Woman
04) Celebrate The News
05) Loop De Loop
06) Forever
07) All I Wanna Do
08) Deirdre
SIDE TWO
01) Break Away
02) I'm Going Your Way (California Slide)
03) Cotton Fields [45 version]
04) Slip On Through
05) Walkin'
06) Games Two Can Play
07) When Girls Get Together
08) Soulful Old Man Sunshine
SIDE THREE
01) At My Window
02) This Whole World
03) Where Is She?
04) I Just Got My Pay
05) Good Time
06) Carnival
07) Our Sweet Love
08) Fallin' In Love (Lady)
SIDE FOUR
01) Tears In The Morning
02) Back Home
03) Take A Load Off Your Feet
04) Add Some Music To Your Day
05) Susie Cincinnati
06) It's About Time
07) Cool, Cool Water
Now THAT, to me, is a powerhouse Beach Boys album.
