Found this on a hard drive I hadn't booted up in at least 8 years...

For those that have already heard it, I took the time to speed correct it & adjust the EQ a bit so it's not so boomy.

Thanks man!

He's probably doubled by Matt, isn't he?
From which concert is this? Do you have a setlist and is Brian there for the whole show?

Edit:

Oh I just see that it's Jeff and this concert:

a diseased bunch of mo'fos if there ever was one… their beauty is so awesome that listening to them at their best is like being in some vast dream cathedral decorated with a thousand gleaming American pop culture icons.

PRO SHOT BEACH BOYS CONCERTS - LIST

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

Definitely sounds more like Matt and Brian to me. Can't really hear Jeff if he's there.

I think Brian showed up for a couple of shows in 1995.

Shoot. I've been looking for this for YEARS! I had it on my old computer maybe a decade ago and I think I'd even made a request for it on here, just cuz it seemed like such a random occurrance (that being Brian not only being at a mid '90s Beach Boys show, but also singing a lead!). Anyways, I'm about to listen.

So anyways, THANK YOU seltaeb1012002!

Thanks a bunch for this!  Grin I've been looking for it for quite some time now. I had it downloaded on my old computer(with the rest of the show) and lost it, so I'm really glad somebody has made it available again.  Smiley

I believe this was from Vegas in April of that year. And yes, Jeff left in 1990, so it's Matt doubling Brian.

No problem guys.

Funny, I have posted on here myself looking for this recording, not realizing that I had it the whole time.  LOL

Andy Paley also joined Brian onstage for the show, IIRC.

The real question -- has any recording ever surfaced of Sean O'Hagen appearing with them? Or is that entire story apocryphal?

Brian was singing way too high, he made the same mistake on the same song at the infamous 1981 Long Beach concert.  He sounds much better singing it in a lower register on the Imagination DVD and the Live at the Roxy album.
