A healthy band (I say that because there's an apple on Darian's piano):

To sum it up, they blew it, they blew it consistently, they continue to blow it, it is tragic and this pathological problem caused The Beach Boys' greatest music to be so underrated by the general public.

That's one of Neil Young's roadies, it's funny cos I've seen him on tour and thought the same thing LOL

Also "interesting" is that Darian and Scott are playing Neil's piano and organ.

As of now, there is no indication that the concert will be streamed live online as it was last year, unfortunately. If someone hears anything different, please update!

FYI, this is the link to the YouTube channel for the Bridge School benefit which streamed it last year, and also posted videos from the show. Just in case: http://www.youtube.com/user/BridgeBenefitConcert

Unless it switches on unannounced today or tomorrow, there are no signs as of yet that it will be streamed - Last year they advertised the fact that it would be streamed, this year there were even people asking online about streaming and no replies were posted. But, just in case it's worth checking the link anyway! Maybe they'll post it after the fact as highlights on that YouTube channel or something.

What's weird is I can't spot Dave in that clip. Dunno if he's just off camera, or taking a break, or what.

Cool they did the song, though.

No David - that pic with him is about a year old. David didn't rehearse with them because he's not appearing. Just to make things totally clear.  Grin

Brian's people just posted a short video of Al, Brian and Neil rehearsing "California" backstage. Don't know how to post it here though

That is fabulous!  Thanks for the video!

Love the use of the acoustic piano, gives a great unplugged feel and just wow! Go Darian!

And, how Bennett is so enthusiastic as he performs! He does rock!

I'm truly jealous!  Wink

There is an even better video of rehearsal that Brian Eichenberg posted, and that Al reposted on Facebook.

Gahh...only a brief clip of Brian with lead vocals. Yet a video where Al is surprisingly off key is in full. More BW leads, please!!!

Also cool that Al`s Crumple Car is also linked from his Facebook page which I hadn`t noticed before.
