Sometimes limericks almost write themselves, like recently the memorial Geoff Emerick-one. And now the sad Me Too-case against Kevin Spacey. The opening line has to be a limerick-classic:

"Kevin Spacey on trial in Nantucket (!)..." of all places

But what comes next?
Well, here goes nothing. At least trying to make it Subtle~As~A~Flying~Mallet (Dave Edmunds:)

Kevin, the Spacey on trial in Nantucket

They say: "he played p°°l in another man's pocket"(?)

          Says actor Kevin Spacey:

          "Perhaps I'm guy-crazy

and I just may have touched, but I did not hand~flog~it !"

' ROTA s<
>OPERA<
>TENET <
>AREPO<
=SATOR i
  ^ ^ ^ ^ i

Forget the "i" and get "SATORI" (starring composer Nino Rota "Godfather"Smiley

               >i

    ROTAs SO/pera
"TENET": a R°*^-epos
    = S*A*T*O*R*I?<

To me all this is like a "koan" (riddle/enigma/conundrum). I'm nowhere equipped like Bill Tobeman on this. So this is just my gut-feel-flows. Question is this. How to get from a koan to "satori"? Allegedly one has to Let-Go-Of-Your-Ego. In the "tenet"-quadrat we can see the paradox(on). The additional "i", needed to spell satori is placed OUTSIDE the box. And in the haiku-version, the first "i" is only a palindromic reflection of the "i" in "satori". But THiS TiTLE iTSELF ruins the integrity of the HAiKU as such.
Now let's compare the dilemma with the famous lower case "i" spelling of SMiLE. Composer ROTAS name is here a stand-in for bRian dOuglas's Teenage operA "Smile". The "TENET" (soap-)opera means SM:LE teenee opera ("A Teenage Opera To God") The lower case "i" in the SM:LE title (and in the BR:AN name?) getting in the way towards satori. ["R-epos "= Riddle-epos?]
How can we lose the "i" and  get an answer to the koan?

Koan°: "What is the sound of one hand clapping"?
Koan':  "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound"?
Koan²:  What would an opera/epos titled TENET by Nino Rota sound like?
Koan³:  How is the sound of a SM:LE?

      >Koan, aok?
S*A*T*O*R*I !  Did "i"  rot  AS
      koan: AOK?<

right on

For that, someone gets his personalized limerick-palindrome. But be warned: it's "nothin" if not ABSOLUTELY "obsolete"!:

>Nuf' L*O*L? "Right on",
e'! Telo-SBON-
    ILLA: "repete?
    per ALL in obsolete!
NOTH'~ girl = ol' fun!"<

Ps. This is exactly what palindromists do (according to Will Thomas:)

>"We name odd names, revers'em and do'em anew!"<

Lindon&PapaLaPap's crossword OCTO²puzzle:

B  r  i  a  n D W a:

R o n d o  r    I  s

I   n g o t #u  l  k!

A d o  r e  s  S O

N o t  e s  T o  A

D R.u s  t  e n s

W  i l  s o n  P I:

A s k O a s  i  s

The nearest FARAWAY reading:
Inspired by the Tenet quadrat (see top) I wanted to make a BRiAN one, knowing full well how hard it would be. In fact impossible to me, had it not been for Lindon's original 5-by-5 square.
BRIAN DOUGLAS WILSON. Rondor (music publishing) is GOLD (not least owing to BRIANs magic music). Hulk (= the Pied Piper "You can see the green glow I make") adores notes to  Ian RUSTENs Wilson PI (frankly, when I chose "PI", I thought of the magic infinite number as a nice Brian-symbol. But Pied Pied it is!)  Ask Oasis.

Who's gonna be the first to get all 10 answers right? (don't be too modest to contest:)

B  r  i  a  n D W a:

R o n d o  r    I  s

I   n g o t   u  l  k!

A d o  r e  s  S O

N o t  e s  T o  A

D R.u s  t  e n s

W  i l  s o n  P I?

A s k O a s  i  s

1) 1st across/6th down: Beach Boys-historian (full name)
2) 1st across/going down: a "Menace" - really?
3) 2nd across: very Together-guy (UNrelated)
4) 2nd across: Beach Boys-producer's mother
5) 2nd across/going UP: aid needed?
6) 3rd across (3-5+5/6+8): do The Chicken!
7) 4th across (1-3+3/4): Goodbye Surfing?
Cool 5th across/going down: lyricist
9) 7th across/down: Faraway guy
10) 8th across: Bud anthem?

I guess #10 could almost fit with Don't Hurt My Little SIS !? but I AM referring to the lyrical content within another song ...
