Who is Anne Wallace?

I'm listening to her midis of Beach Boys songs from various sites. They're spot on and excellent.

Did it ever occur to you, Cable, how wise and bountiful God was to put breasts on a woman? Just the right number in just the right place. Did you ever notice that, Cable?

She even does a midi of the cool Heroes and Villains instead of the lame Smiley version.

Listening to the midi's of both versions to the song really show which is superior. You'll fall asleep on the first one.

Email her at annie.wallace@ntlworld.com and ask her.  She made a SMiLE mix in 2004.

She contructed, in my opinion, the best pre-release Smile mixes I've ever heard. Wasn't she the first to combine the Brian piano demo of "Surf's Up" with the instrumental track? Superb.

No girls allowed in my tree house!  Grin

.......

I once played Pet Sounds to a girl. She then took out the disc, put it shiney side down on a stain from chinese food, and proceeded to put on Usher.

......Maybe Pet Sounds wasn't the reason.....:-)

Well, I contracted a severe case of cooties after what we did during the Usher music playing. I do believe it was bad taste on her part, or bad taste on my part for not liking Usher over Pet Sounds.

I don't know if she was the first, but she did it the best, as far as I can tell.

There are more of us women here than you might think (although I'm not a musician).

I hang my head in shame, ladies. I apologize for my assumptions of male supremacy throughout the Beach Boy world!

...............

Eh, you know I'm just kidding around, right? I'm a guy and I hate myself -- that shows how I really feel on the issue.

If I could find a girl in my town who liked the Beach Boys I'd be in love. Sadly, there are none. I was wandering around school the other day during a class which I was too tired to pay attention to. My friend Rob and I were strolling along, chatting away, shooting the breeze, coughing the convo, when we turned a sharp corner. Round popped a moderately attractive lass, my age I had supposed of her. She made a comment on my T-shirt. That day, that week, had been 'laundry week'. I had been running through drawers trying to find a new shirt for each day. On this particular day it was a dated Kurt Cobain shirt from my days as a youthful rebel. I had felt like a fool all day, carrying the flag of a moron in that damned shirt! I must've seemed an idiot to all who saw it, a fan of such a puny person! Oh well! The girl I thought, if she wasn't so keen on admiring Kurt Cobain shirts I might like her. Her smile held all the wonders that I felt as a young lad, moping dreaily along to the beat of Nirvana's muddy rythm down the streets and hallways of my school. I replied to her with a questioning, Oh?.

Apology accepted...tho you should probably consider losing your assumptions of male supremacy on a much larger scale...

Some of these songs are laughable in the obviousness of not originally being one track. Do You Like Worms, especially.

note to self...dude you ARE an idiot!!!

you should be cool, you like Nirvana & the beach boys, yet you're totally lacking in the positive ego needed to walk about town comfortable in a Kurt Tshirt!!!
She probably sensed yr selfconsciousness and walked on.

You blithering Brian-baby!!!
c*ck up and be a real power pop aficianado!!!!
Don't you see how the BB's and Nirvana are cut from similar cloth!!!???
why do you guess Sonic Youth admired both groups??

Lose the dopey attitude and get it on...life's too short to front!!!
Represent, the chicks love a guy who will look them in the eyes and say
"i love Kurt & Brian Wilson...here, have a listen to my double sided cassette
mixtape of Surf's Up b/w Incesticide ."

I love you too, whats your name?

Dig it.
