Maybe when they opened for Elton John back in the seventies? Just as an aside, Georgia played Vanderbilt this weekend, so I saw the BBs back in the seventies at Vanderbilt, opening act, Billy Joel, the crowd actually booed him, he did his Ray Charles impression and won em back. Mike wore his shiny purple outfit with the sun on the front!

Yes, 1973. Billy Joel was booed and heckled off-stage in Saint Louis. . He sang while the crowd chanted, Beach Boys, Beach Boys. He kicked his piano stool over and walked off. The crowd cheered. Different times.
