Hey all!  My primary musical outlet, power pop/rock group The Diabolical Machines, has just put out a new free single, and I thought I'd share with the group.  It's called "Capture You."

I wrote the song, play my 1965 Farfisa organ on it, and am in the backing vocals.

I like the over-compressed sound!  It seems like the vocal should be less out front (mixed back/more reverb or double tracking) to blend with the band?  Just an observation, not a criticism...

We actually tried that - mixing the vocal further back in the sound - but in this instance, weren't happy with how it sounded, so we went the other way 'round.

I like it.  It has that cool garage band sound, without sounding like crap.  Catchy.
