Oh no, they’re not going to pull a “Carl and the Passions” and pair his new album with “Pet Sounds” in a two-disc set, are they? 

Hopefully this means we’ll get the new album, and sooner rather than later. Mid-late October is looking feasible.

To hear an album you've already got 47 times, and hear part of something you can get for about $15 in a few weeks

It's on my bucket list to meet Brian, and the window of opportunity closes with every passing year (on both sides), but I don't have a job, won't have a place to live shortly, and couldn't afford to travel even if I DID have an extra $400 that didn't need to go to food or rent. Yeah, gotta pass. Besides, I don't think this scenario would be within Brian's comfort zone, judging by how the meet and greets normally go, and wouldn't want to make him feel uncomfortable.

Maybe one day if I ever DO get to meet him, we'd be in the studio for a different reason. Hey, I can dream, right?

You know, this would be a perfect promotion for Brian, the album and the movie if they were to take away the $400 and make it a fan contest or such. Some form of 'thanks' to his loyal supporters would have been appreciated rather than a money grabbing exercise.

I see this as a fail with a 'Capitol' F by all concerned and just another of a long list of poor decisions by camp BW.
