Was in a record store this weekend and saw two discs shrinkwrapped together... That's Why God Made The Radio and something called '50 YEARS OF THE BEACH BOYS" and stamped promo.

I'm wondering if this was a promo version of the later 50 hits package that came out in the fall?

A quick google search would yield the track list, but yeah, as Hey Jude mentioned it's just a standard hits.

I found a shrink wrapped copy of the "That's Why God Made the Radio (Chronicle Edition)" Saturday night at a local used CD store for $7.95.  Looks like it was a Reader's Digest cross promotion?  It's the regular TWGMTR album packaged with what seems to be a double cd best of album.  Looks as if it was a cross promotion with Reader's Digest, perhaps?  I wasn't sure if this was a rare find or not, but it seemed cool, so I bought it.  As there is nothing new in the package, I'll leave it shrink wrapped.

The tracklist on the best of discs is pretty cool.  It includes Disney Girls, Vega-Tables, All This is That, You're Welcome, Don't Go Near the Water and a couple of others that don't normally pop up on most best of type releases, at least not to my knowledge.  Pretty cool find.  Is there any more info on this release that I'm missing?
