Thanks, Howie!

Did the release include any reissue production details (remastered by ...) or material details (180g vinyl blah blah)?

Will "Love You" come with the same "cheap cardboard" sleeve that Al hates, but that I love? Dig the semi-corrugated texture! Goes well with the Crayloa-type art design!

Details are slow to emerge, but I've thrown a bunch of questions to the label.
Awaiting answers. As soon as I know I'll pass it along.

I'm assuming they're the Acoustic Sounds releases: http://store.acousticsounds.com/a/2776/The_Beach_Boys

Yes: They are Ume/Capitol reissues avaiable via the Acoustic Sounds web shop, but they are not to be confused with the previously announced but yet to emerge Kevin Grey remastered vinyl/SACD reissues of a clutch of BB items (ie the albums recently rereleased on CD).

Previously discussed/monitored here:

The Beach Boys – The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album (mono LP) will also be released on October 28th.

These releases have been known about for awhile but I'm curious what sources the reissues will be from.

LOL Hoping it will come in an actual hand-stitched sleeve (with a double strength anti static bag)

Did the release include any reissue production details (remastered by ...) or material details (180g vinyl blah blah)?

These were listed in the Soundstage Direct Newsletter this week as 180g vinyl audiophile reissues in original packaging and available for presale - $22.99 for the single LPs and $35.99 for In Concert.

Does anybody know how many of these are getting pressed?  I'm temporarily relocating to Japan later this week, and was wondering whether there will likely be any available when I get back next June or if I should order them and get them shipped to a relative.

Capitol's "limited" releases are usually around for years and considering the other BB titles are still around, these will probably be around just as long.

Ah.  In that case, I won't worry about it.  Thanks!

The Beach Boys should have been called The Very Best of Greatest Hit Compilation Reissues.
