Hello there,
I've been visiting this site on and off for the last few years, so after dipping my toe in the water and deciding that the sharks ain't too scary; I thought its now time to dive straight in, so here I am!
I fell in love with The Beach Boys in the early 90s, I knew all the hits but it was discovering Girl Don't Tell Me on the b-side of my mum's Barbara Ann single that led to my obsession (don't be under any illusion that I discovered any other music due to my parents' cool record collection, aside from this anomaly it was all Klaus Wunderlich and 'Whistling' Ronnie Ronaldo).
I was lucky enough to attend Brian's first RFH show in 2002 and The Beach Boys' Albert Hall show in 2012 and can honestly say that they were the two greatest gigs I've ever seen.
It's good to be here, let the banter commence!

Welcome to the forum.

You saw the Albert Hall show...that must have been one hell of an experience. What do you remember from that night?

And production aside, I’d so much rather hear a 14 year old David Marks shred some guitar on Chug-a-lug than hear a 51 year old Mike Love sing about bangin some chick in a swimming pool.-rab2591

Yeah, it was most definitely the 2012 RAH show, not 1966; all baseball caps, no stripey shirts.
Throughout the show I alternated between grinning like a loon and holding back the tears.  Highlights - Dave on Pet Sounds, Our Prayer, Sail On Sailor, Summer's Gone and of course Forever and God Only Knows ...I had a hell of a nice pizza that night as well if I remember correctly.

Rule of thumb, think BEFORE you post. And THINK how it may affect someone else's feelings.

Check out the Beach Boys Starline website, the place for pictures of many countries Beach Boys releases on 45.

Listening to you I get the music; Gazing at you I get the heat; Following you I climb the mountain; I get excitement at your feet
Right behind you I see the millions; On you I see the glory; From you I get opinions; From you I get the story
