This has always been one of my favourite early BB songs (and not just because as a child I thought they were singing my name...).  Brian has recently featured the song in concert, but is there any evidence of the Beach Boys performing it live?

They performed it in 1982 at Jamaica World Festival, and around 94 I think.

Also in 2004 it was featured in the setlist of Mike and Bruce's Endless Sounds Of Summer Travelling Jukebox Band.

If the Beatles had suffered this kind of misrepresentation, they would have never got past singing 'Please Please Me' and 'I Wanna Hold Your Hand' and leaping around in Beatle suits."

I saw the Beach Boys perform it at quite a few shows during the '80s and '90s, with both Foskett and Matt Jardine taking a turn on the high parts. They did a very nice segue into "Help Me Rhonda" with ASL.

They performed it at Atlanta Stadium after a Braves-Cardinals game in 1987.

Mike's Endless Summer Beach Band also performed it a few times back in the '80s. I heard a tape where he introduced it as the song that ends "American Graffiti."  ("It was right at the end.")
