I think it's cool that a guy in his 70s can pull that off. Go Bruce!

Well, from what I remember reading in the Stebbins book on Dave, it seems that Bruce has come across to Dave as a bit of a snarky, weasely, fake type (big surprise huh?). For instance, when the idea to bring Dave back into the band in the early '70s came about, it seemed that Bruce would say things to him like "it's such an honor to be in your band" and whatnot, really trying to be overly nice to Dave. But then once it was decided Dave would not be joining the group, all of the sudden Bruce acted like he had no clue who he was. Later in the book Dave says Bruce ends up basically doing the same thing in the '90s, with Dave remarking something like, "at least he's consistent."

And then in the '90s when Dave joined "The Beach Boys" it seemed that once again Bruce seemed to come across to Dave as kind of a prick. I remember at least one scenario where Dave said he was supposed to be joining Mike in a certain car after a show or something, and right as he was about to, Bruce jumped in and kinda gave him a face like "sucks to be you pal" as they pulled away. I think Dave may have ended up throwing something as they drove away too.

SHEESH, BROOTH.

I met Bruce last Friday and he didn't sign for me and recommended that I listen to Brad Paisley. He truly is the definition of lame.

Brian introduced The Little Girl I Once Knew by saying that the first two notes sounded "Chinese," but not to worry because the rest of the song was "American."

I still have no idea why he jumps. It hurts my brain to think about it too much.

If someone in the Beach Boys HAS to wear shorts on stage, then Mike really needs to have Wendy Wilson or Taylor Mills in his band. Now that I would pay to see!
wendy in the late 90s/early 00s looked the best, flawless figure, still does .

That's only the tip of the iceberg, Mikie.

Yeah, what the Hell is that?  Is he trying to be like Pete Townsend?  White men can't jump!

I, I love the colorful clothes she wears, and she's already working on my brain. I only looked in her eyes, but I picked up something I just can't explain. I, I bet I know what she’s like, and I can feel how right she’d be for me. It’s weird how she comes in so strong, and I wonder what she’s picking up from me. I hope it’s good, good, good, good vibrations, yeah!!

If anyone goes to Club Kokomo, please do us all a favor and ask why Bruce jumps. I'd love to hear an explanation.

On our way through this "backstage" maze, Bruce joined up with the group and said hello, singing "It Never Rains in Southern California" and joking with some of the older ladies. I'm not sure if they knew he was a Beach Boy or simply an enthusiastic elderly gay gentleman.

Agreed. Now, if he jumped and landed doing the splits like James Brown, THEN I would impressed  Grin .

The truth about Bruth? He's no political expert. He needs to stick to adjusting his microphone and walking across the stage in his white shorts smiling, waving, and clapping his hands.

Who really gives a sh*t what you think about anything, Bruth?  Effing Carpetbagger.

Actually,  I agree with everything he said.  Neither candidate was good imo. Maybe he needs to stick to politics and stop clapping.  Grin
