As I write this I'm tent camping and trout fishing at Diamond Lake, Oregon. My intent was to take a break from modern communications, including this message board, when it started raining a couple of hours ago, so after enjoying some JacK Tennessee Honey and Jack Tennessee Fire (now being test marketed in a few states, including Oregon), I broke down and logged on to the the SS Message Board.
This is great news, and an incredibly well deserved honor! Congrats to JS for being chosen to provide info on one of the greatest albums of all time, in the form of an essay that will be preserved for all time.

Don't forget the bit about how none of the other Beach Boys played on the sessions, and that they all hated it and it was a complete sales flop. I offer that info for no reward other than the sake of accuracy.
And can I say how gracious and wise of you it was to let Smiley Boarders know of this honour before you've out pen to paper… absolutely no pressure there and no one reading over your shoulder, then!
Seriously though, a zillion congrats. Neat honour, well earned.
