I see she's born in Missouri, St. Louis. If I'm not mistaken, this is the motherland of bgas. No way he doesn't know her & she never signed him anything (poems, spoken album etc.).

Btw, Maya is a very beautiful name.

Hi all,

Farewell to a marevlous poet!!! I have her book of poems. I saw her read in the 90's. She spoke well. Her poetry and other things she did and wrote will live on. RIP Maya!!!
