TV show from the early 80s wasn't it? Never got it myself.
Ok....I'm out. What was the show and catch phrase that was in large print on stage during Knebworth? Would make it from a TV show late 70s then.
edit....

World War Two poster that was never issued in large numbers.
Yes... and no - 1939 poster, but it was issued in huge quantity: it's just that very, very few survived (maybe 20, 25).

But what if it said, Keep Calm and Listen to Oasis or Beady Eye?
or Wishbone Ash.

I'll come forth and admit that don't know where it originated from but I've never referenced or used any of those "keep calm..." pictures, logos, or anything on Facebook or anything.

I'm pretty sure it was England's response to the London bombings during WWII.

2nded. I read comments in IMDB trashing her looks. Okay, she has puffy cheeks & obvious skin damage. So what? She's still pretty & has cute smile. Last phrase in Mr. Waves' signature seems weirdly fitting to her character. She independently tapped on the ugly worms without caring what the audience would think of it (I for one thought she did good job, though why smile?).

As for the original post, truer words rarely spoken.
Gosh, this is a really good album. Much of its greatness stems from the fact that it doesn't they to be larger than life. It is perfectly life-sized album. I don't buy the downer/somber thing for a second. Life has many facets, the album just reflects that. Carl said the best, on the MiC closing track. Celebration of life.

Be here now and listen to Pet sounds. No need to keep calm. all is one.
but as for that crown and slogan, the bureaucrats at my work place have co opted that. Just another buzz phrase in my little corner of the universe.
Pertinent cause I've been re re re discovering PS as of late. so many layers of sound it can serve as a mantra.......can get lost in it......just follow the organ stop changes........
