Of the remaining, I suppose I gotta go for Still Cruisin'. Though I wouldn't mind seeing SNJ winning, which I foresee.

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

The Brianista Prayer

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,

And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.

For a moment I didn't realize this was the final round and I thought all the Somewhere Near Japan votes were crazy.

Somewhere Near Japan.  (I can't believe "Still Cruisin'" made it to the final round over "Island Girl" and "In My Car")

Still Cruisin, by a big margin for me. But yeah, it probably can't win at this point

For me it comes down to Kokomo and SNJ, the latter making zero impression on me in 1989 but which in recent years has become a favorite track from their later years.  Kokomo, however, I highly resented in 1988 for going to #1 while "Love and Mercy" and Brian's impressive solo debut went largely unbought and unloved by the public.   I am no Mike Love fan, but much later (despite overexposure via radio, concerts and every Mike Love interview) I came to grudgingly acknowledge he contributed an irresistably catchy hook and an atypically smooth, non-nasal vocal.  Add Carl Wilson magic on the chorus, and it's understandable why it's one of their most popular tracks.  So to my surprise, I am voting for:

Kokomo

This is a tough one, but gotta go with Kokomo. Somewhere near japan being close second. Kokomo's the song that hooked me to find and listen the later BB-stuff.
