Make It Big is a challenge, in either this version or in the different mix from the movie intro.

I almost went Wipe-Out, but I once listened to the extended 12" mix - it gets a bit hypnotic after the 169th or so wipe-it-out-wipe-out recitation; which makes up for a couple of the other short comings

Alright, I am gonna jump back in on this one. While I agree with pixletwin about Make It Big, I still like it more than some of the other candidates. So, I'm voting off Wipeout.  I like Wipeout as a novelty, but in all reality it is The Fat Boys with Brian Wilson.

Wipe Out

Wow -- it's hardly an album when you take out the older tracks...

Welcome back to a new round of BEACH BOYS SURVIVOR. Remember to be respectful of others opinions. Please don't spam the thread with too much opinionating (a little is ok  :D ).... and without further ado...

We won't be including the previously released track on side two.

Quote
Still Cruisin' is the twenty-sixth studio album by The Beach Boys, their thirty-fifth official album (counting compilations and live packages), and their last release of the 1980s. It is also the last album of new material released during a brief return to Capitol Records.
Still Cruisin' was left out of Capitol's Beach Boys re-issue campaign in 2000 and 2001, and is currently out of print.

Wipe it out. Wipe Out. Wipe it out. Wipe out. You know it's golden when it sounds like a toilet paper jingle. (14)

As usual vote for your least favorite track. The track with the most votes gets voted off.

Tally on April 21st

Round#1 - Wipe Out April 19

My least favorite is Make It Big... tries to rock like Van Halen.. ends up sounding like an 80's infomercial.

The Brianista Prayer

Oh Brian
Thou Art In Hawthorne,
Harmonied Be Thy name
Your Kingdom Come,
Your Steak Well Done,
On Stage As It Is In Studio,
Give Us This Day, Our Shortenin' Bread
And Forgive Us Our Bootlegs,
As We Also Have Forgiven Our Wife And Managers,
And Lead Us Not Into Kokomo,
But Deliver Us From Mike Love.
Amen.  ---hypehat

Kokomo.

Only saving grace being Carl's vocals on the chorus.

Make It Big   Processed 80's crap. At least Wipe Out is...unique in the catalog. And, a hit.

Not disagreeing on "Make It Big", but Carl's lead vocals at least make it a guilty pleasure.

Not to mention that Make It Big is irresistibly catchy, with or without the 80's production. In fact, I quite like the song as it is (bar the lyrics), but then again I have better tolerance for 80's production than a lot of people.
