I just don't envy all the hard work you have to put into this pixletwin.   Figuring out what folks are voting for, using quotes and mangled words...
I have done the count 3 times.  If Woodstock is using Gabo's quote, which I think he is...then it's a tie.  Now broken by Swedish Frog's vote for Cali.

THis is a tough one. I love It's Over Now. Beautiful melody, if someone hazily delivered by Carl.

But Still I Dream Of It and MLLO are equally beloved by me.... I love Brian's honesty and the Brian-ness of Still I Dream of It. But I also love the delicateness of Dennis' melody in MLLO.

I would like to give the vote to MLLO so Dennis can have some representation in SUPER SURVIVOR... but as I type that, it feels wrong... But then when I type out SIDoI that also leaves me feeling bad...

sigh....

I will have to think about this...

I didn't count Woodstock's post as a vote. He only stated that some people don't like Dennis. He never actually voted. Either way, like you said, CF is out.  3D

"It's Over Now" and "Still I Dream of It" are both excellent songs, are among my very favorites, and I don't think they've made better songs since.
Tough choice, but I'll have to go with "It's Over Now" at this moment in time.

Pretty easy actually - My Love Lives On

When I first heard S'Ova Now, my reaction was well, yeah, it's ok; sure some nice elements but a bit cornball for me.

When I heard Still I Dream of it Demo, I thought awesome and amazing - as for the studio version, I thought Still I Dream of It studio version, I thought ok/pretty cool...

However, MLLO; having only just recovered from creaming my duds  Pirate over Wouldn't it be Nice (To Live Again), I loaded up the MIC From the Vaults CD, skipped straight to Cali Feelin' (Brian demo), then thought "What is this MLLO" and was thence thoroughly blown away  Thud

We can actually say the same about your pick too. I usually love Dennis' work, but this one doesn't do a thing for me. Out of this whole exercise, I wouldn't have picked half the songs that won. Before the Internet, I would never have guessed that we would be so different. Back then on the rare occasion when I would meet another fan, we would almost agree on everything. My how times have changed. Smiley
