While it would have probably been best for Brian's mental health to ease him back into the producer's chair with an album of covers, as was his desire, the unthinkable would have happened: 15 BO would be worse than it eventually became. Speaking of awful albums, will we do 2 at a time eliminations for SiP Pixletwin, a la the Odds and Ends collections? |

Blueberry Hill is nothing to write home about, but I quite like the first 45 seconds of it... a lovely vocal by Mike with a stripped-down jazzy band, and an uncharacteristic moment of restraint on the album. I wish I could hear the rest of the song done like that.

I'll vote Talk to Me for this one but I have to say I find it hard to vote these things off. For all some folk talk about "awful awful" covers, this is my favourite band, my favourite band of brothers, my favourite harmonics… I struggle to dislike anything they ever did.
