Then I had to think more in line with the original Crystals versions, which is a powerful cut. I didn't try to 'Spector" it up too much, but it has a nice, dense sound, and it's in stereo..as much as I would have liked to mono the mix, I couldn't pull myself to do it, because Barry had submitted such a nice stereo backing track. some more castenets, bells, strings, timpani, doubled lead vocal, backround harmony and post-production, and here it is, all two min, 15 sec of it.
