I put together a compilation of my favourite covers of Pet Sounds songs that were made in the 60s:

I tacked on Good Vibrations because it needed lengthening (and also it fit the easy listening vibe).

Just tuned in now… first two tracks really enjoyable and highly interesting. So cool to have a collection of what are effectively contemporary covers… Can't wait for a CD!  :D

Yeah I think most of these were probably recorded in 67 so there's a real unity to the songs. There's a definite easy listening vibe to many, but obviously not all, of them. Just a shame they weren't all covered at the time.

Good Job!  Your first post on YouTube.  Love The Hollyridge Strings, they were very popular back in the day.  I didn't have the song list in front of me while listening, was that really Bobby Vee on "Here Today?"  Pretty cool for Bobby.  Brenda and the Tabulations and Mark Wirtz/Peanut were both standouts.
