Hold On Dear Brother, one of my least favorite beach boys tracks.
I dont understand the hate for He Come Down I think it's pretty grand.

He Come Down
I don't care for TM, forgivable when a song is as good as All I Wanna Do, less so when a song is as weak as this.
There's good bits (and bad bits!) but it just really goes on far too long and the middle meanders all over the place. And the production is poor.
(Incidentally, I really hope Cuddle Up wins, a) because it's the finest track on the album, and b) to make up for poor Denny getting robbed in the Odds & Ends 3 round. Fingers crossed).

Cuddle Up Yawn! It goes nowhere. It's also a shame that the album's best track ("Here She Comes") is gonna get voted off early because it wasn't written by a founding member.

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

Yeah right, that is most likely the song that will win. There are no weak tracks, this Round Should be called Just "So Tough" instead of #22.. Let's get it started with "Hold On, Dear Brother."

My 3rd favourite Beach Boys album, but MAKE IT GOOD was always problematic - I can't understand a single word in the song!

I agree, Here She Comes is an excellent song. In fact I really like all the songs off this underrated album, except He Come Down of course. My 3rd favourite Beach Boys album, but MAKE IT GOOD was always problematic - I can't understand a single word in the song!
The music off Make It Good is excellent, just brilliant. Can't say the same about the lyrics. Really just Dennis saying I Love You over and over again. It's definitely one of Dennis's weaker songs and one of this album's weaker songs, but it's still not as bad as He Come Down. But Music is subjective, so...

Votes for All This Is That in the first round?! I'm pretty positive that track will win, easily the best on this album IMO even though it stands out like the sore thumb.

Not 'easily' best. I'd say it's 2nd or 3rd best.

Carl and the Passions – "So Tough" is the eighteenth studio album by American rock band The Beach Boys, released on May 15, 1972. Initial pressings of the album included Pet Sounds as a bonus record. The album is frequently considered a transitional album for the band, with the addition of Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar on guitar and drums, respectively, and long-time member Bruce Johnston departing during its initial sessions. It's been speculated that Carl and the Passions – "So Tough" was either scheduled to be released, or re-released, as a single album. A Warner/Reprise catalogue number, MS 2090, had been assigned to this single disc release, but nothing came of it. The album was released as a standalone album in Europe on Reprise Records. The title of the album was a reference to an early band Carl Wilson had been in as a teenager. It was also the first album released under a new deal with Warner Bros. that allowed the company to distribute all future Beach Boys product in foreign as well as domestic markets. Welcome back to the a new round of BEACH BOYS SURVIVOR. Remember to be respectful of others opinions. Please don't spam the thread with too much opinionating (a little is ok ).... and without further ado... This was a close one, but in the end we just couldn't Hold On to Dear Brother. VOTE OFF YOUR LEAST FAVORITE TRACK!!! Tally on February 13th!!! You Need a Mess of Help to Stand Alone Here She Comes He Come Down Marcella Make It Good All This Is That Cuddle Up Round#1 - Hold On Dear Brother February 13 My least favorite is... Here She Comes. It just doesn't feel like the Beach Boys to me. Good song though.

Make It Good.
One of the worst songs I've ever heard, musically and lyrically. It's either ridiculously lazy, or a failed experiment. It just doesn't sound like a finished composition.

Mess of Help. It's a well-written song in need of better production, and Carl's vocal sounds like he's trying too hard.
