The dumming does sound a lot like Ringo, all those triplet fills and the backbeat thud sounds a lot.like him.

Al should tour with Ringo's All Starr Band. It would get him out there with a low cost to him, and a chance to shine without Brian..

I must be watching something else to you. I'm seeing Ringo walk onstage for the closing number only. To be fair though, the quality is so bad I'm not even sure its Al! LOL

Another poor video.

That would be great! But besides Rhonda it would be hard to pick the songs he'd do.

I would suppose Ringo invites musicians to join rather than Al wanting to.

Yeah Ringo does hand pick the band but Al definetly has the resume to do it.

I'd say thats Ringer Starr in the video... Ringo still looks good (70+) but not that fit these days.. the man in that video looks  like he's no more than 50 and very lean,  Nice impersonation however :-)

"Al Jardine, the show's headliner, closed things with his signature Beach Boys' classic, 'Help, Me Rhonda,' before being joined by many of the evening's performers, including Walter Eagan, Richard Barone and Ron Dante (plus a Ringo "look-alike") for a rousing rendition of 'With A Little Help From My Friends.'"

Well I was fooled as were most of the audience judging by the reaction. Well done Ringer! LOL

Al got buried in the crowd at the end. Wink
