I'm so glad Diamond Head made 3rd place (after 2 great Pet Sounds songs), it's so innovative, bizarre and relaxing.

Personally, I'd bump "Do It Again" in favour of "Mona Kanai"

Christ almighty, what's with the consistently disturbing photos of musicians as an avatar? Why this picture of Syd?

Pet Sounds, man. Has a perfect 60s feel to it, in the best way possible.

My top pick was Let's Go Away For Awhile, but The Nearest Faraway Place is a very close second for me. I also love the old surfin' instrumentals.

Thanks runners,  I noticed Rei had changed his name and avatar, but couldn't figure out Who the hell it was.  I've never seen a late in life photo of syd.  Yikes!

I thought that was Syd but I hadn't ever seen that particular picture of him.

We're talking about The Beach Boys not "The Beach Boys." Tongue

I remember seeing that photo after reading a Pink Floyd biography. It really hit me hard, to read about this charismatic young man who was at the forefront of the London psychedelic scene, and then see that photo. It's not as bad as the photo of him at the Wish You Were Here sessions though.

True. His story is quite a tragic one.
The photo I'm using is the last known photo of him, taken one day before his final birthday in 2006

It has to be Lets Go Awhile for Awhile. Any other answer is objectively wrong.
