Nothing like people who run around trumpeting how "offended" they are. Being offended is a choice.
There is a difference between "being offended" and "offensive material" - I'm not offended, personally, but, generally there is a standard for "offensive behavior or publication."

To stretch it a little, not that long ago, the US Supreme Court, said that they could not "define pornography" but that one "knows it when one sees it."  Is that vague? Ya.  But, I would find it offensive if any public figure, musician or otherwise had a handgun photoshopped on to his or her hand.  If any BB had a gun pasted on, I think any fan, might find it offensive.  Guns are not implements of peace.  They represent violence, generally when not in the hands of law enforcement.  Last time I checked, Mike was not a cop.  And, last night Mike had a cell phone in his hand for Surfer Girl at at Country Fair show.

And, the radio/walkie-talkie replacement... What does that mean?  We had bombings after a global road race detonated by cell phones.  Does that make a cell phone inherently bad?  No.  Are they all suspect?  I hope not.  Was it satire?  I don't know.  But, given that this forum is generally dedicated to the founders and associates of this great band, does it defeat the purpose by reconstructed photos?  And, it could be construed as a character attack.

Being offended is a personal response, not a choice.  And, that is my personal opinion.

Aren't we supposed to "build each other up," on this forum.  Doesn't that include band members?

This thread is the best thing ever and the worst.

Though the cannon edit made me laugh for way too long.

That photoshopped hand is in such poor taste.
That hand looks about 16 years old.
A young hand on an implement of violence?
Any hand with a firearm.
Please take that down.
Thanks.

I don't see what's wrong with it. It's clearly photoshopped and not intended to be any kind of attempt at a "real picture".

Actually the scariest thing was “Bonus Track: Hey Good Lookin’” !   Cool Guy

Wasn’t it Dostoevsky who said “It was the best of threads, it was the wurst of threads”?

Judd -- you do good work!

Would it be too much to ask, for you to do a cover for Mike Love's lost FaRTS album?  Like w/SMiLE, Mike also had different ideas about the band's direction.

Maybe something with pink bunny slippers?

Boy, you must be a silicon because you are a nonmetallic element occurring extensively in the earth's crust in silica and silicates, having both an amorphous and a crystalline allotrope, and used doped or in combination with other materials in glass, semiconducting devices, concrete, brick, refractories, pottery, and silicones. Atomic number 14; atomic weight 28.086; melting point 1,410°C; boiling point 2,355°C; specific gravity 2.33; valence 4. See Table at element.

Girl, you must be a gnome because you are one of a fabled race of dwarflike creatures who live underground and guard treasure hoards.
