Hello All,
I am new to the board...thanks for having me. I am a composer/bass player and
like everyone here, a huge BDW fan. I wanted to post a link to a 128kbps mp3 download
of my instrumental arrangement of Wind Chimes. It is from my newly remastered record
"Radiate"...which along with my 2007 release "Interstellar Appeal" will be available in hi-res at iTunes, Amazon, and CD Baby in Oct.
I hope you like it...and thanks for listening.

Wow! That was wild, I absolutely love it – Beach Boys fusion!

Bravo, Mr. Setola.

Whoa! ASetola's version of "Wind Chimes" is one everybody should take a listen to! It's not just an instrumental cover of a 3-minute "Wind Chimes." The thing is more than 7 minutes long! It's wild! And the last couple of minutes have all kinds of SMiLE pieces and sounds thrown in ... bits of "Vegetables" and "Heroes & Villains" and "Fire" and ... more than I could easily catalog in one listening! I'm gonna go listen to it a few more times now!

Thanks to you both for listening. And it is true that the arrangement is filled with SMiLE references...some are obvious and some are not. Happy hunting, and please let me know what you find. I'm sure there are ones that are there that I didn't realize.

Wow!  That was epic.  The next song on your soundcloud is more to my taste though.. very strong playing!  I assume you are the arranger/bassist, from your picture?  Or have you multitracked all this?

I am glad you liked the music. Thanks for checking it out. Yes, I played bass on everything. I also wrote the other tune you mentioned, Oakland and Back, from my first solo release
from 2007 called Interstellar Appeal. The tune is a bit of a TOP tribute, and the record has a lot of tunes that contain the same type of playing and arrangements. Thanks again for your comments.

It's really beautiful, and quite the adventure.
Thanks for taking me on that trip!
