I remember buyin this and buyin that import with What I Say live on it.. Rarities + Favorites.. This was a real good compilation that didn't chart well .. Companion to Endless Summer + Spirit Of America .. This has tracks from all era's thru 1969.. But mostly from  66-69.. 5/5  No cd release to bad I would buy it..  What is is about capitol and boring or ugly covers anyway..??  This is all profit how much is it gonna cost to put a nice pic on cover..??

I loved it purely as my personal introduction to the BB's 1966-69 period, just as I loved a Canadian 2-Lp Golden Hour set of Kinks songs from 1966 to 1971 for my introduction to that era of Face to Face, Something Else, Village Green, Arthur, Lola and Percy.

Kind of coincidental how these Capitol comps came out during Brian's worst periods (1974, 1975, 1982).

I recall that faintly.  Those were days when David L. had something to do with it.  And he was
so terrific.  He asked a number of us to come up with lists for possible inclusions in the 2-discs.
Peter must have submitted a list.  AGD?  I'm guessing my list and the lists of others didn't differ
all that much. I recall suggesting a similar title (California Dream? Sunshine Extravaganza?)
