First Beach Boys album I had on Vinyl, or on any format. Although that's because it's really my Dad's and that's his only Beach Boys album.
I don't know how he got it, but he literally never played it, because he hates the Beach Boys. Whenever I'd played it at first, he would scream at me to turn it off or he'd destroy the record lol. Since then, he has softened on the Beach Boys, especially the Chaplin-Fataar era, but overall, he still dislikes them.
3 out of 5.

I remember buying this LP as a English Import 76-77.. Nice compilation.. Boring cover.. great music 5/5.. In the 70's + 80's lots of import compilations had nice covers that  I used to collect all the time.. It was kinda fun having LP's from all over the world with a lot of pics at that time no one had ever seen..  Had  a huge collection of them..  Also import 45's ..  In the cd era covers are all the same like this cover.. Or variations on the same theme..  Don't get why the cover doesn't mean much any more.. It used to be as important as the music inside..  In David Leaf"s excellent book there is a picture of BW on tour  holding this LP around some fans .. I hear this LP was big stuff in England.. Top 5 I believe..

great comp!

also the first album I bought on 'cassette'........ and it still sounds pretty good after having it thrashed over and over...

its probably the original sound I remember hearing before having Cd's and remixes and alt. versions...

my most favourite compilation.......... made in the u.s.a being 2nd..
