That's weird, especially since it's the opposite for me: that I can see this image just fine but a lot of the others in this thread show up as broken links for me... although I can tell by people responding to them that they can see the images just fine.

The image is also on this page:

A lot of those image sites especially Getty use moronic methods to prevent this sort of thing, it'll show up on your computer but the links don't work for other people.

Mike is lucky in this respect, because the Getty archive is full of profoundly repulsive pics!

Mike Love explains why he's dressed that way.

Quick, who looks the least happiest to be in this picture?

"You say you're a bigger celebrity then me, right John?  Full House, all the kids remember it, right John?  Well then, John, Explain to me exactly how the hell I got them to put this baby on stage because I put it in the rider?  Huh John?  You think you could pull that off?  I told them I need a meditation room, and a fucking 1948 WURLITZER JUKEBOX and they made it happen John."

"See Jim, this is exactly what the f*** I'm talking about.  You little 'independent' record shops and your used records, this doesn't even have an intact Copyright statement on the back, do you know I could sue you for that?  Wait 'till I call the RIAA, I'm gonna own 'Jim's Record House' by the time we're done here"

"So, no no, you gotta hear this!  You gotta hear this!  So, we're in Boise like I was saying... and he gets back on the bus, and he's looking everywhere, I mean looks in the back, looking under the table... finally, finally I just show him the receipt.  WE PAWNED HIS GUITAR!!!!  It was hilarious!  These damn hipsters and their music instruments."

Ah yes, from when Mike Love briefly quit the band, attended USC and joined cheer squad.
