Wait, didn't you -- you had a lost album too right?
Mike:  Yes.  Yes, I did, Al.

Why don't you tell everyone -- What was it called again?  TuRDs?  Errr, no --
Mike:  You know damn well what it was called, Al.

STiNKs?
Mike:  You really wanna do this now?

Oh, I think I am doing this now...
Mike:  Pack your sht --

Was that the name?  "Pack your sht?"  Was that the name?
Mike:  You're out.

And... so, basically, yeah. That's how I gave the Beatles their name.  And their image...
Reporter:  Mmm.

Say, that dude's drivin' off with your News Van...
Reporter:  That's ok. It's not my van.  I'm not really a reporter.

Interviewer:  And this new album, uses material from your lost album, right?
That's correct.

Interviewer:  And what's this new album called again?
The Brown Album.

Interviewer:  The br-- *laughs* the brown album.
Yeah.

Interviewer:  Ok.

Mike and Dean, no longer just for alcohol drenched night terrors.  Think about how creepy they must have looked before they came out of the bottle!  This is Bobble-Head Love.

Wow, I freakin' love that poster!!  I'd actually enjoy hearing the music/shows.  Does any of this exist?  What did they play?

I love the early 80s Beach Boys and the kind of, mini oldies revival that happened at this time.  It was right before everything got gross and cheesy-80s with all the awful digital sht and feathered hair.  The world was washing itself clean of the sins of the disco era -- getting back to rock n' roll.  Picking up where they left off in mid-70s (before it became too disco) but without any of the pretension and grandiosity that the 70s had.  The music had muscle.  Real drums.  Fun!!  Beer!!  Summer!!  It was a brief but wonderful time.  It really could have been a great era for the Beach Boys!!!!  Made to order!

AL: Keep him covered till the photographer leaves, guys.

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

That photo should appear in the "coolest photos of Mike Love thread", not that there is one it would be a pretty short thread.

Man, if he just had a hat on that didn't have his own band on it he would look like the full on rock legend he is.

Years ahead of his time (and Jim Morrison), Mike's 'dangerous' performance is closely monitored by the police
