In thinking recently about "Full Sail", I recalled that the bridge is sung by a non-BB (as I remember from some posters on the board, this was co-writer Cushing-Murray on lead in this part, right?). This rarely gets talked about, but it's a bit surprising that a non-BB sang this bridge part, I suppose.

I know we also have "It's Over Now" + "Let's Put our Hearts Together" with Marilyn, "ADITLOAT" with Jack Rieley, "Forever" with Uncle Jesse, but am I missing any others? I'm almost certain I am.

I guess we almost had "Honkin' Down the Highway" with the Billy Hinsche vocal take (which I'd love to hear someday), and "California Feelin'" by the Pamp-ster, if that counts.

The album version of "Summer in Paradise" has Roger McGuinn singing one of the verses.  Jeffrey Foskett sings prominently enough on a few of the songs on That's Why God Made the Radio that I think would qualify him as a co-lead vocalist (particularly on "Private Life of Bill and Sue" and "Shelter").

There's a female voice singing lead in "Be Here in the Morning" on the lines "It's been such a long day so you better hurry home" and the corresponding lines in the other verses. Marilyn? Diane? Or am I crazy and that's actually Brian sounding very feminine? I could swear I've read somewhere that that is a woman singing though.

IIRC, that's Al.

Van Dyke Parks has a prominent line in the coda of ADITLOAT.

Enjoy!  I know I do.  No comparison in my eyes ears.  It's a shame it will probably never see an official release.

I've always thought it to be Carl, from very first listen back in 1979.

Jack Rieley has an even more prominent line in the verses and choruses.  Grin

Marilyn on "LPOHT" & "It's Over Now"... Arnie Geller on "With Me Tonight"... Gene Gaddy on "H&V"... Nik Venet, Andrea Carlo, Hal Blaine...

It's not really singing but Hal Blaine on "Amusement parks U.S.A.".

I like that slightly faster "Honkin' Down The Highway". It rocks more!

Yeah but those are just backing vocals, right?  I think this is more about actual lead parts.

If memory serves, there are no Beach Boys singing background vocals on 'Livin' With A Heartache'.

Yeah I just checked: Curt Becher, Terry Melcher and Jon Joyce. For years I though I heard Bruce J. on bg vocals but I guess not.

Marilyn's voice is fairly prominent on the background vocals of "Rock and Roll Music."

Always wondered who the female voices on "Got to Know the Woman" might be.

Terry Melcher sings very prominently on the U.K. version of Island Fever.

Dean on Barbara Ann obviously.

Little Richard and Frankie Valli even more obviously.

I also hear Marilyn on a lot of 15 Big Ones songs including "Its OK", "Had To Phone Ya", "That Same Song", and "Back Home".

I forget, what's the source on this? I've seen it before but would swear I hear Bruce on there, too. Could he have possibly put his voice onto it after the original background vocal session? He did produce the album, after all, wouldn't have taken long for him to quickly do those parts in one take when no one else was around to witness and document it.

Yeah, I think that's Al.

On another note about Be Here in the Morning, Papa Murry sings bass on the responding parts. I believe the story goes that mike was in India, thus, he wasn't there to sing his bass lines.
