Here's one for students of the Unsurpassed Masters CD series.
If you listen carefully to the vocal takes of (WIGUTBAM) during the bkg voc. "age count" 32, 33, 34 etc... someone in the band jokingly says, "I'm dead"
I havent been able to make out who it is. Can you?

Hey Little Tomboy is creepy. Banging women by the pool is fun and conjures up warm summer thoughts a Beach Boys song should.

The track in question is a vocal take and pretty sure there are just two of those...I dont know the second but its right in the fade at the end - the countdown is around 36 as it goes on longer than rhe commercial release. There is some chatter as the song winds down.. sorry i am not at home to give more detail.

Okay Ive pinned it down: When I Grow Up (To Be A Man) (1st vocal overdub) @ 2:15
Apparently this session went late into the night, (past Michael's beddy-by-time) and he was none too pleased and quite vocal about it!

Actually I don't hear "I'm dead", I hear "sixty-nine"...
In that case, I'd guess Dennis, but can't tell really.

If I say it was Nik Venet, will you insist it was David Marks?

Really? well I'm going to have to try and isolate it. It is difficult to tell what they say in most the off-mic yakking
unless someone is yelling at the top of their lungs!

I muted the right channel and applied a "telephone" filter. The "I'm dead" is brief but clear before "38" which is the last (spoken) audible number.
I think it is Dennis, which is kinda chilling seeing he died at 39 years of age.
